Myrtle Beach is one of the fastest growing tourist spots in the US. Grand Strand. Its hub, Myrtle Beach, is clustered with a number of quiet towns and islands. Many of these places are still privately owned. Obsolete buildings and low interest rates have risen to high-rise hotels, oceanfront hotels and preconstruction condos.
If you are a biker or if you just love the rumble of motorcycles as they pass on the street – then you are in for a real treat during the annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week that is held each year. Myrtle Beach Bike Week sees an influx of thousands upon thousands of motorcycles rolling into this coastal getaway by the Atlantic Ocean, and is a main source of income for this time of year for area hotels, shops and retailers. It is held around the first week of May each year and the rally lasts for ten days. For the motorcycle enthusiast or those who love the biker lifestyle, there are events and festivities like motorcycle races, parties, concerts and street festivals – almost enough to contend with the infamous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally that you may be more familiar with.
Myrtle Beach is one of the most prominent beaches in the eastern coast of the US. Hence, with the high inflow of tourists and an innumerable number of hotels to choose from, it is difficult to research prices and facilities. It is further complicated by the on-season rates corresponding to weekends and festivals. It is advisable to check an official calendar to find the ongoing festivals. Despite the year round pleasant climate, the peak season starts from June and lasts till November.
