Why work with wholesale distributors
Wholesale distributors sell new products direct from the manufacturer. There is no middle man. You keep the profit.
How to Find Wholesale Distributors
1. Contact the head office of the company that manufacturers the product you want to sell.
2. If you have a truck load of cash and a storage facility, talk to them about becoming a wholesaler for their products, other wise politely inquire as to who their licensed wholesalers are.
3. Contact your nearest licensed wholesaler and negotiate a volume price purchase.
There are four links in a regular market chain,
1. Manufacturer
2. Wholesaler
3. Retailer
4. End User
How to spot fake wholesale
If you search for “wholesalers+product name” in Google you will probably loose money.
You see, all those ‘wholesalers’ that popped-up during the Google search were not wholesalers at all! They were, each and every one of them, middlemen – nothing more or less than ‘companies’ whose sole business is to get between you and the REAL wholesale distributors.
Their business model is to convince you that they are true and legitimate wholesalers and then to sell product to you at marked-up prices. What they do is to take your order, send that order to a Real wholesaler, and then charge you the wholesale price PLUS a 10-20 percent markup for their ‘services.’
Here are a few Tell-Tale signs of the wholesale middleman:
- They don’t ask you for your Tax-ID. ALL legitimate wholesale distributors require that you have a Sales Tax-ID in order to do business with them.
- They want to charge you a monthly "Access or Membership Fee." Real wholesalers don’t charge for doing business with them.
- Late night TV "Infomercials that promise a "Business-in-a-Box." Come on! You can’t be serious!
- Any company that requires multiple Thousands of dollars in minimum orders. They know that you can’t afford such an outlay but they’re hoping for more web traffic to boost their visitor claims.
